Music Room with a variety of instruments trains the students in vocal and instrumental music. 

Dance Room is the place where our students learn classical as well as contemporary dance. The performance outputs of this room are a special attraction in our school functions. 

Art Room has an ambience, which is motivation enough for the students to express their thoughts by portraying their imagination. 

Clinic : A well-equipped clinic with a qualified doctor and a nurse carry out routine checks and provide medical attention whenever needed. 

Cafeteria : A clean hygienic cafeteria to provide a variety of sumptuous, wholesome nutritious snacks and midday meals for the children. 

R.O. Plant : Our Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant ensures that our children get pure drinking water and do not fall prey to water borne diseases. 

Swimming Pool: Our half Olympic sized Swimming pool with professional coaches, focuses to train our students to be swimmers par excellence.

Auditorium: We have an aesthetically planned huge multi-purpose auditorium for recreational activities. It has a seating capacity of 2000 people and is equipped with state of the art sound and light effects. This place is the stepping-stone from which our students make their foray into the world of performing arts.

Tennis Express: We launched the Mini Tennis Express to provide our students with an opportunity to learn Tennis. Expert coaches having perceptive insight into the game train our students. We are committed to identify and nurture the potential stars of Tennis.

Open Air Theatre: For all in-house programmes we have a mini-open air amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 400 students. It is the place where the competitions, special assemblies and presentations are held.

Hostel

Parental Care : Separate boys and girls hostel with all the modern amenities have been designed to provide students all modern amenities. 
Trained and experienced teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the students. The school counselor interacts with every student and is available for counseling 
Carefully selected house father takes care of the daily needs by inspecting the rooms regularly, the availability of toiletries, the cleanliness of the rooms, the conditions of the clothes, the diet and food taken by each student, the personal hygiene, skin and hair care and most importantly at the note book remarks and the home work. 

Dining Hall: The Dinning Hall is the venue for day-to-day dining and for regular formal dinners. Meals are carefully planned by expert dieticians who maintain a proper nutritious diet for the growing child. Purified drinking water, juice, fresh fruits and vegetables are served.


There is a special menu planned for each day of the week and the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained by the school staff. 

Safety & Security : Student’s health is regularly monitored by resident doctors and nurses in our Medical Centre. 

Our carefully selected caretakers, teacher, house parents and well-equipped security staff are supported by technical system meeting international safety norms.

We have our own fleet of modern buses, which make the journey to and from school very comfortable. Teachers escort our students to ensure their safety and comfort.

We provide a vibrant atmosphere, a home away from home, where emphasis is on conceptual learning and creative inputs for building a strong foundation.
The teaching is child centered and is tailored to the individual needs of student by involving each one of them in the learning process and sustaining their interest.
At the nursery level, each child daily undergoes activities that lay the foundation for a better human being. This includes personal, social and emotional development, communication and skill with language, Mathematical development, General knowledge and undertaking of the world, creative involvement and Physical development in a play way method of teaching.
The teacher-student ration is kept as low as 1:18 to give personalized attention.
The brightly lit and well decorated classrooms, adorned with colorful motifs, are a joy for our little ones.

Science Laboratory is very well-equipped with a large number of specimens and equipments to satisfy scientific queries of young minds. A telescope for budding astronomers. 
Social Science Lab is well-equipped with 3-D models & maps and replicas of historical monuments which aims to make the learning of social science more interesting lively and interactive.
Computer Lab with a ever-changing technology, RPS is working to keep its student and faculty abreast with the latest. The campus is wi-fi enabled. The lab is equipped with 48 core 2 duo computers, one for each child and 40 laptops for individual teacher. 

A well-equipped Math Lab as per the new curriculum aims to take teaching and learning to new heights through innovation and creativity.

The facilities in the campus include a Half-Olympic size Swimming Pool, Play Grounds, Gymnasium, Tennis & Basket Ball Courts, Library, Computer Lab, Schence Labs, Language Lab, Math Lab, Medical and Transport etc. 
The School follows CBSE curriculum and offers residential-cum-day boarding facilities.

Admission at RPS

REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION
  • Registration of the child should be made prior to the admission.
  • Registration Forms are to be filled in and submitted to the school office with Registration Fee.
  • After Registration entrance test will be conducted on a scheduled day.
  • Registration does not imply admission. Admission is subject to clearance of entrance test and availability of seats.
  • The Registration fee is not refundable.
AGE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION Minimum age limit as on Ist April of the year of admission. Nursery 3 ½ Years K.G. 4 ½ Years Class 1 5 ½ Years. Entrance Test
  • There will be entrance test based on the syllabus of previous class followed by interview of the studentsseeking admission to different classes.
  • The School reserves the right of accepting or refusing admission to any child who seeks admission to the school.
Admission Forms
  • Selected candidates must pay the fees within two days after declaration of result.
  • The Admission Forms should be accompanied by six photograph (Passport Size) of the child and an attested photocopy of birth certificate.
  • For admission to class II onwards a Transfer certificate from the previous school must be submitted along with the Admission Forms.
Payment of Fees The payment of fee is done in three installments.
  • 1st installment to be paid at the time of admission (March).
  • 2nd installments to be paid in July.
  • 3rd installment to be paid in November.
  • At the time of admission, along with the first fee installment, admission fee and other annual charges will also have to be paid.
  • If a student fails to pay the school dues within the specified period, alate fee of rupees 10/ day will be charged for the next 15 days after which the student’s name will be struck off the rolls and thechild will have to be readmitted after seeking the approval of Principal and making full payment of school dues and late fee.
  • Fee once paid is not refundable for any reason. Only security fee will be refunded after making necessary adjustment as required.
Withdrawal
  • Parents have to give one month’s notice for withdrawal of their ward(s) failing which a month’s fee in lieu of notice will be charged.
  • A student can also be asked to leave the school on ground of indiscipline or unsatisfactory progress in studies.
  • Security will be refunded after one month from the date of withdrawal. No interest will be paid on the security held by the school.

Academic Programmes

Classes & Curriculum
  • The school offers education from nursery to class XII (all streams).
  • The school follows syllabi prescribed by CBSE, New Delhi and provides facilities to the children for studying various subjects including science, languages and life skills.
  • Regular physical training will be given by trained instructors who will also supervise games like cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, swimming, skating and martial arts.
Tests and Terminal Examinations
  • Periodical weekly tests and two terminal examinations (SA1, SA2) will be conducted every year for classes 3 to 12.
  • Weightage will be given to marks of weekly tests and academic activities in final assesment
  • Progress Report will be prepared and sent to parents after every test/examination.
School Timings
  • School timings are subject to alteration in consultation with parents or as per decision of the school authorities.
  • School timings in summer will be 8.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and in winter 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. with suitable lunch break
Meeting the principal and teacher
  • Parents can meet the Principal on all working days after 11.00 a.m.
  • Parents can meet the teachers by fixing an appointment telephonically.
  • Parents must make it a point to attend parent teachersmeeting (PTM) on a regular basis.
Guidelines for Parents
  • Parents should not disturb the teaching by entering the class room in the school hours. They can meet the teacher on parent-Teachers meeting or as per pre-fixed appointment. Parents are expected to cooperate with the school in its attempt to help their children progress at work. They should check the DIARY of their ward daily to see if any notice or remarks have been issued by the class teacher for their information.
  • Parents are expected to inform the school if there is any change of address/telephone nos.
  • Parents must send a duly signed written note to the school office while sending somebody to take the child from the school.
  • Any communication made by the Parents should be addressed to the Principal.
  • Parents must sign the progress report and sent it to school within three days.
  • Parents must also sign the weekly test answer seats / notebooks.
  • Child suffering from any contagious or infectious disease should not be sent to school till he/she is fully recovered.
  • No student will be allowed to leave the class to meet the parents for any reason.
Absence
  • 75% attendance is compulsory for all students to appear in the final examination held at the end of the academic year.
  • No leave will be granted except on an application from parents/guardians. Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than ten days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
  • A student returning to school after suffering from any disease will have to produce a fitness certificate from the concerned doctor permitting him/her to attend the school.

The Rajendra Public School established in the year 2008 endeavors to 'make a difference to your child's life'. The school is a dream of Dr. Rajendar Singh Sra who felt the need to bridge the gap between western techniques of education and Indian value system, to form the 'True Indian School'. The Rajendra Public School is co-educational, English medium and residential in nature, with classes I to XII (all strams), affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), New Delhi.
